Stage Management Training Opportunity

An great oppotunity to learn.  MTNZ are proud to be partnering with Steve Lloyd - an absolute powerhouse of theatre industry knowledge and experience - to bring an online ten part training series in Stage Management (level beginner to intermediate).

The first session is in the second half of April 2025 - sessions will be recorded should any be missed by our busy up and coming stage management volunteers.

Over ten months Steve will take participants through the following topics:

Session 1: Introduction to Stage Management

Session 2: Communication and Leadership

Session 3: Pre-Production Planning

Session 4: Rehearsal Management

Session 5: Stage Management Paperwork

Session 6: Technical Rehearsals and Cueing

Session 7: Running the Show – Live Performances

Session 8: Health, Safety, and Risk Management

Session 9: Problem-Solving and Crisis Management

Session 10: Wrapping Up a Production and Post-Show Responsibilities
