You are warmly invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Amdram Theatre which will be preceded by a Special General Meeting (SGM)

Date:Wednesday 8th October 2025

Time: Doors open 6:45pm with the SGM commencing at 7:00pm followed by the AGM at 7:30pm

Venue: Amdram Theatre, 171 Guyton Street, Whanganui

The SGM is being held ot ratify our new constitution ready for acceptance at hte AGM.

The AGM is an important opportunity for all members to come together, reflect on the past year, and help shape the future of our theatre. We will be presenting reports, electing committee members, confirming our new constitution and hopefully the colour scheme for our make over in 2026.

Your voice matters, and we would love to see as many of you there as possible.

Committee Membership at Amdram: A Call to Active Contribution

Joining the Amdram committee is an opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the future of our theatre — but it also comes with the responsibility of being part of a working team. Committee members are expected to contribute their time, skills, and energy to support the day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and creative direction of the society.

This is not a passive role. It’s about stepping up, pitching in, and helping to ensure the theatre thrives — whether that’s through organising productions, assisting with maintenance, managing events, or supporting community engagement. We’re looking for people who are passionate about the performing arts and willing to work collaboratively to make things happen.

In short: don’t ask what the theatre can do for you — ask what you can do for the theatre. If you’re ready to be hands-on, proactive, and committed to the success of Amdram, we’d love to have you on board.
