One Act Plays Meet the Directors

Amdram’s 2026 One Act Play Festival is up and running. The selection committee has selected 5 plays and now we need all you marvellous performers to come and fill the cast lists.
On Wednesday, June 10th we will be having a ‘Meet the Directors’ evening at Amdram Theatre, where you can come along and hear about the plays and sign up for an audition for one or more of them. Or all of them if you’re keen. Here is a list of what the directors will be looking for in each play:
- Sure Thing: 1 male, 1 female
- Citizen 10: 11 actors (any age, any gender)
- The Set Up: 2 males, 4 females
- Regularly Gaze at The Luminous Edge of Existence: 2 males, 1 female
- Flash Gambit: at least 10 actors (a mix of male and female and some characters can be either)
The directors will go into more specifics on the night but be assured there is something for everyone in these plays.
